Our Soulful Journey
Bio for Band of Brothers:
The Band of Brothers is a group of singers and musicians with well over
250 years of musical experience between them. Their performances include a combination of Southern Gospel and Bluegrass Gospel including some originals. Bringing with them a unique sound.
The Band of Brothers consists of musicians: Rick Benton of Wingate, NC (Dobro, Banjo and Vocals), Alex Kovach of Fort Mill SC (Guitar & Vocals), Greg Deese of Marshville, NC (Acoustic Guitar & Vocals), Don Hunt of Wesley Chapel, NC (Keyboard & Vocals), Jerry Byrum of Monroe, NC (Harmonica, Lead Guitar & Vocals) and Tim Cleaver Of Monroe, NC (Bass Guitar & Social Media Director) and Chris Rogers of Wingate, NC (Drums & Vocals).
While their motto "Send Me" speaks for itself, they have a passionate heart for Christ ministering through music and are excited to see what God has in store for them in the days and years to come. Catch any of their live performances and you will find them moving seamlessly from bluegrass gospel, to southern gospel, to contemporary gospel to you name it. Yet it all manages to sound cohesive -- "strangely familiar" as one fan called it -- and all part of the experience.
